I often speak with people who are working on developing their intercultural abilities about the need for a healthy level of self-doubt. It is a positive thing to be able to say, “But maybe there’s something more here that I don’t understand. Maybe I’m wrong.”

However much we might know or however certain we might be about something we always need to remember that we are human and therefore limited. There is always the possibility that we could be wrong, if not in whole at least in part.
